John Howes has modified the classic Quad II valve amplifier to incorporate a range of high specification features. Utilising new-old stock 1960's industrial STC 5B255M output beam tetrodes, all areas of circuit design, power supply and ventilation have been reviewed. The original chassis and transformers are maintained, while the following updates to modern standards have been included:

1% resistors used in critical positions

Copper bus-bar earthing

Higher capacitance power supply

Improved ventilation

High quality phono input socket and speaker terminals

Professional spray-paint finished

Available in any colour

Hand-modified in England

2-year warranty (6-month warranty on valves)
